Something Cool era o nome de um LP de June Cristy que marcou época no meio da década de 50. O estilo "cool" com que a cantora interpretava as canções do disco ajudaram a marcar uma diferença que depois resultaria em uma nova maneira de interpretar. É quase possível dizer que June Cristy antecipa Chet Baker e, até, João Gilberto.
